wanted: someone who has had bilateral hip replacement

I am to have bilateral hip surgery with Dr. Bolinger here in Sebastopol soon and I'd like to hear someone' s positive experiences with it, or things I should be aware of. I'd like to hear more of the possible healing time frames.
