My dog wandered away around 9:15 p.m. tonight. I live on Furlong Rd, about 1/2 mile from Bodega Hwy., near Forest Drive and Sandretto. I've driven up and down nearby roads - no sighting, and no response to my calls.
He's a Border Collie/Shepherd mix, about 7 yrs old, black, short hair, tan and white marking on his face. He weighs about 50 lbs. Wearing a red collar w/ his blue micro-chip call tag.
Please CALL me if you see or hear of him. 829-1896 Leave a message if I am not here.
Thanks,
Vita

Attached is a picture of him from a year or so ago.

My wandering friend came home late last night with a bagel in his mouth, and looking VERY sheepish. After all my driving around and hunting with a flashlight, seems he was having a party....
But, I was so relieved.... and very tired.
Thanks.

:)I am SOOO GLAD YOU FOUND YOUR DOG. But to me, he looks FAR MORE LIKE A BEAGLE. I had a Beagle/Terrier mix and he was good at getting out of car, yard, just about any place. He could dig under a fence, find something high enough and close enough to jump OVER THE FENCE. But they are very good at knowing where they are and how to get home.

I had my dog in the car once in summer while I ran into the grocery store for a minute. When I came out, he was gone. I looked all over, asked people if they saw him, etc. We were pretty close to a path I used to walk him on and I went there and looked for him.

Well after a considerable time of looking I went home only to find him sitting on the doorstep wondering when I was going to get home and let him in the house.

HAVE A HAPPY TIME WITH WONDERING DOG BUT KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON HIM FOR SURE.
