This is a story from wired.com about a woman who was mistakenly classified as a terrorist ... she sued the government over this and won eventually ...
This story points to a very scary reality in our country ... anyone can be classified as a terrorist ... there is no oversight to this procedure making it prone to corruption and an abuse of power ... if you fight this in court your case is likely to be thrown out citing concerns about "national security" ... so what recourse is there for those targeted civilians who believe that their classification has to do with political silencing, hate or revenge? Is this democracy?
