I've been looking for bridge players since I moved to California. Unfortunately, it will be a while before I retire and move to West County. Please keep me in mind for the future.

I bid 1 Diamond to open with that hand. If my partner responds 1 No, I'm going to 2 Spades. Do I make the grade?

Yes, we play, eat, and drink, and are interested....let's get together and check it out.

Is there any group that can TEACH a person how to play bridge? My grandmother tried *unsuccessfully* two decades + ago, but without result. I would be interested in learning, but the idea of someone actually teaching me is foreign to most.

The Santa Rosa Bridge Gallery on Cleveland near Piner in Santa Rosa offers good classes. The 6-week beginning bridge class just started this week. Give Kathy Venton a call for more information at 707-591-5105
