THE SUZANNE SWIFT STORY
The Gandhi Peace Brigade raised $100 and also passed around a card that was signed by 75 people at Good Earth Natural Foods in Fairfax last Saturday, the same day Suzanne celebrated her 22nd birthday in a military prison. While serving in Iraq she was sexually abused by her commanding officer (commonly known as "command rape"). She came home and was told that she'd be returning to Iraq shortly. When she asked where to report for duty her next commanding officer said,"to my bed". She went AWOL and was arrested at her home in Eugene, Oregon. Her mother, Sara, is now waging a campaign for her daughter to be honorably discharged. If you want to help, click here: https://www.couragetoresist.org/x/ (https://www.couragetoresist.org/x/)
