Healthy Child Enterprises LLC is a sustainable enterprise that serves a triple bottom line of profit, society and the environment. It is a Sonoma County small business. Our vision is to empower one million parents to raise children in optimal health. Right now it's just me and a part-time person doing everything we can to create this vision. This grant will enable us to hire the staff (local jobs) we need, get our products and program out there to a large base of parents, and donate healthy products and educational materials to local charities.

I'd like to provide some clarity:

Clarification about the Facebook message saying that Chase will have access to your Profile and Friends List:

Chase won't have access to use anyone's friends list. It's the default message that Facebook Connect puts up there for when people use the app for transferring their friends lists to other social networking sites. This is not that kind of site. It’s very secure, and I personally confirmed with Chase that they will not use any Facebook info other than for the purposes of voting. They just need to confirm if someone has already voted.

Some people also have issues with Chase, and I completely understand this. Of course it's a PR thing for them and they're trying to fix their bad image by helping small businesses. The only thing I can say to that is please allow them to finally do some good! Your vote and your friends' votes will not fix Chase's bad image but will certainly do a lot of good to a lot of people!
