Hi- we'll now that we are coming into colder weather as I'm sitting in my warm apartment I feel so blessed to have a roof over my head but there are many displaced people in Santa Rosa who are homeless and are not prepared for this cold weather.

If you have any warm clothing, jackets, blankets, socks, umbrellas and even dog coats and blankets. I am planning on having them ready in the back of my suv so that when the weather changes I can make sure any homeless people I see and especially the ones with cats and dogs are kept warm.. I would also like to have care bags with protein bars and a few meals..
If you have anything you can donate please get in touch with me.

Last weekend we were doing a fundraiser in the grocery outlet parking lot and Friday morning it was 38 degrees outside. Some homeless people came around with dogs and one lady had an amazing cat who sat on her shoulder. I made sure everyone had free warm clothes

Thank you for your help with this.
I feel we can each help and change the world through gratitude and one jacket at a time could change a life on a 30 degree night

Namaste

Aloha Janice,

Thank you! it's very compassionate of you to do this. When I get my winter clothes sorted out, I'll see what I have to share. Where are you located? I live in Rohnert Park.

Last year I was helping one homeless family with 2 children, giving food, clothes, transportation, and money, in addition to doing their piles of laundry. I asked our community for help, but I only had one response offering one time transportation, and temporary use of a cell phone.
