Greetings,
I'm seeking a referral from anyone who knows of a friend or colleague who is an EX or retired Insurance Claims Adjuster. I want an EX insurance claims adjuster so that he/she does not violate any insurance ethical standards in talking to me about my claim.
Why?
I need advisement from an ex insurance adjuster who can give me pointers over how to negotiate my personal injury claim with my insurance company. I've already ordered, and will be reading "How to Settle Your Personal Injury Claim" by Nolo Press Self Help Law Books. However, I want a former claim adjusters insider point of view to have a look at whether or not I'm negotiating the right way, so I do not end up being taken advantage of by the insurance company.
I have not hired an attorney for this, at least not yet, as I do not wish to litigate if I don't have to; attorneys seem to want too much of the settlement.
