Please forgive my cut and paste here, but I wanted to share this with the community. I have already emailed Cynthia Demidovich asking for an explanation and hope to hear back soon.
Two towers have been approved at the Druids Cemetery
The Sonoma County Planning and Permits Department has two completed proposals for towers less than a mile from Camp Meeker. One from Verizon, and another from AT&T. They have contracted with two of your neighbors to put in two fake tree cell towers. One is at 14425 Occidental Road, the other is at 14445 Occidental Rd. proximal to the Druids Cemetery. Citizens have only a week or so to object to this.
If no one objects there will be no hearings and they will be approved.

What you can object to:
The 1996 Telecommunications Act protects telecom companies, not citizens.
You can legally object to this installation using the items in following list. Health issues are not considered much, although you can add them to the other objections.
•Ugly! A fake tree at the Druid’s Cemetery, really? They worship trees.
Does this attractive neighborhood need this blight?
•No matter what your position is on cell phone use, this is a bad siting.
It’s too close to residences, better siting are on ridges or open farm land.
•Harm to wildlife. One of the abstracts in the packet is from Balmori.
He has shown that migrating birds are confused by the magnetic fields
from towers, fly around them, and then dive to the ground to their death.
•Attractive nuisance. This means that young people may be tempted to
climb this fake tree. This would melt their dental filings, and cause
dramatic harm to them. Oh, and it might interfere with cell service.
•Lowered home values. Although having cell services is a plus for some
home buyers, having a cell tower close to a home is not!
•We have adequate cell coverage. This tower will only benefit Verizon.
•Harm to your health from radio frequency radiation. It falls off with
distance from a tower. Think of your children, and pets!
This isn’t a done deal! Camp Meeker chased Verizon out of here, we can do it again. THIS IS URGENT! Call or e-mail NOW! Cynthia Demidovich
