OccupySolutions affinity group is creating, among other things, a free community learning center at the Arlene Francis Center in the "Railroad Square" area of Santa Rosa, CA. Check out the website for more thorough information.

Town Hall Notes:

We could create a 1 page assessment, created by Chance (who wrote a book on learning styles), to understand better how participants in the Center learn best!!!

Ben Zolno, with www.OccupyEducated.org would like to collaborate in various forms of "subversive education". film, theatre, music, art, etc...

Education: "to draw forth" (it's not all about the teaching, as much as understanding what the student needs...

Owen would love to teach about "Creating Consensus Through Music", using improvisational jamming as a model for decision making...

Jim could teach some sciences, and psychological types...

Diane would be passionate about teaching "Raising children in challenging times", and a "SoulSpace" class or two... Natural world, deep ecology, etc...

OccupySolutions is planning for actions like flash occupations, outdoor learning centers, etc, etc...
