    A call to occupy!

Yes, people have generously given food and blankets each and every day to Occupy SR! Yes, people have honked in support of the movement! Yes, over 50 percent of the US population is in favor of the occupy movement (thats more than has ever been seen in any movement in america after 1 month)! But there are very few people who are dedicated enough to occupy full time. This is what our local occupy movement needs the most though! We need bodies to come out and join us; even if it seems like a disorganized mess; even if you get frustrated that no one listens to what you have to say at general assembly; even if it seems like the movement as a whole has no organized message; this movement isn't about a unified message.

Yes, it is a protest, but it is also more than a protest: occupy SR is our local place to start building community and to start talking to one another about our global situation. You people of Sonoma County remember that phrase we hold so close to our hearts: Think Globally Act Locally? This is IT! OCCUPY IS THE PLACE! so please come out to talk and come out to stay! If you are asking what you can can do for the movement then I respond to you by saying, "Please help occupy the space in front of city hall in Santa Rosa!"
