General Senior Services
Senior Day Services	Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays	This is a program offered by the Council on Aging Call Adriane Hatkoff, 829-2440 for additional information.
Congregate Meals Lunch for seniors ages 60 and above.	Daily	The cost is $4.00. Must reserve at least 24 hours in advance. Call 829-2440.
Meals on Wheels	delivered Monday-Friday to homebound seniors	This is a program offered by the Council on Aging, and applicants must qualify. Call Terri Condon, 829-8381 for additional information
Miscellaneous Services
Got Old Drugs? We’re Now a Safe Medicine Drop Off Site	We’ve all got at least one old bottle of prescription drugs, vitamins, or wonder pills that have either expired or we no longer use. Up until recently there has not been a method of disposing of these drugs in Sebastopol. Available during regular business hours, we now have a secure receptacle for drop off. All we ask is that you bag them in a plastic bag, and recycle the containers. We DO NOT have the ability for recycling sharps, so please continue to drop them off in your regular manner.
“Got Old Documents? Shredding Available...No Waiting”	It’s that time of year again when we prepare for taxes, clean out our old files and then sit there and wonder what to do next. WELL, for the old files and records you no longer need you can just bring ‘em on down to the Sebastopol Area Senior Center and put them in our secure shredding bin and their destruction will be assured by North Bay Document Shredding. With all the talk and concern about identity theft these days, we should destroy anything that has any identifying data on it, especially related to banking, credit...even those pesky credit card offers should go. There is NO CHARGE for this service, but donations are welcome.
