Just like the citizen based, then City led, Solar Sebastopol evolved into Solar Sonoma County; Sebastopol has a readiness leadership model to share, in support of a broader base of preparation for all kinds of circumstances.

Many of the precautionary approach things we stand up for, here in the Western part of Sonoma County; are to be respected. Just look at how the cell phone dangers and Smart Meter issues have gained such traction, in spite of the lack of serious investigative reporting years earlier.

Fighting optional conflicts has a big carbon footprint.

Why aren't the climate protection, and environmental groups calculating things such as the carbon footprint of the unconstitutional, US led NATO invasion of Libya; and other missions of choice?

Please stand up against funding more unconstitutional warfare; insist on AmericaCARE first, a strong defense; no funds for missions of offense.

Looks like Woolsey is is OK with granting war powers to a President without a declaration of war from Congress. She voted in favor of giving Obama the OK to go into Libya without one.

Thompson's votes have been improving in this area and regarding increasing our country's debt ceiling. I'm not OK with the US taking out yet another credit card with the likes of countries without good human rights records; are you?

Our methods of war are crimes; and everyone pays the price: us in unending tax debt; our troops and their families in countless ways; and the physical, emotional and infrstructure damage we do where we have invaded.

Tell your Senators & Congress men and women, we are watching your vote on the deliberatly mis-titled "Defense" Authorization Bill.

Require them to:

Declare victory. Call for a cease fire now.

Exit all missions of offense by 9/21/11, date of the United Nation international Day of Peace. www.peaceoneday.org

End PL107-243, and all current bills like it, granting any president war powers without a declaration of war by Congress.

End the US led NATO mission in Libya, and on all other foreign soil until there is a Congressional declaration of war.

Fund only missions for which there is a certian need for defense; and only after we have funded the basic needs of all Federal, State, and local districts.

Also, to tell the truth about what's going on with local gov & businesses, Federal gov., and the military's involvement in GeoEngineering.

Ask your City Council's and Board of Supervisors to pass resolutions to support these all items as well; or they will never restore their quality of life; and save enough for the kind of rainy days which may be ahead.
