Marin County Board of Supervisors Vote Unanimously to Create Moratorium - Smart Meters

Thank you to all you diligent, dedicated activists! Today the Marin Board of Supervisors heard from
50 speakers, all of them opposing the smartmeter installations and encouraging the supervisors
to vote for an ordinance imposing a moratorium on Smart Meters for 1 year.

At times there was "standing room only" in the Board of Supervisors chamber with a strong
    representation from West Marin.

One speaker, a member of a local electrician's union stated, "Electricians hate those meters!" Then
he surprised the supervisors and the audience members when he said "I can help you remove them!"
As he sat down 20 or so people asked him for business cards, including Supervisor Judy Arnold, who
briefly stepped down from her chair on the podium.

Those wishing to have unwanted meters removed without having to go through whatever machinations
PG$E imposes, can contact Stan Sparrow, po BOX 11931, San Rafael, CA 94912.
    Phone 415-606-5777.

Of course, if there are local electricians willing to perform this removal, please let us know!!!

With jubilant gratitude to June, Katharina and all you activists!
