CSubject: Board of Supervisors meeting

Hello Everyone!

We went to the board of Supervisors meeting today. There were many people about the Smart Meters, many moving testimonials of the effects of Smart Meters. The large majority of the speakers came from West Marin. Nevertheless, Supervisor Kinsey, who spoke after all these people, claimed the Supervisors do not have the jurisdiction to set up a moratorium to prevent further installation of smart meters.

For us here in West Marin, Supervisor Kinsey is our only elected official, we have no one else to turn to. A few years ago a moratorium on all building in the vicinity of the creek was passed overnight here in the Valley. This proves it's possible. Moreover, given that other County's and Fairfax have managed to pass moratoriums, so can we.
Perhaps at this point we should even just ask for a moratorium in West Marin, where there's such an overwhelming outcry over the installation of smart meters.
Please all email supervisor Steve Kinsey and cc to the other supervisors and assistants Liza Crosse and David Escobar.

Please email them, even if it's only one line, they need to hear from more people before they can claim a mandate. It's really up to us.
Be sure to ask for an emergency ordinance for a moratorium on further installation of Smart Meters.
