Re: Rally to Restore Sanity / March to Keep Fear Alive (Jon Stewart / Stephen Colbert)

Dang, I wish I could go to this event!

Both Stewart & Colbert mentioned that there would be "musical guests" appearing. Wild guess - 200,000 people attending.......300,000? The Woodstock of the decade? Woodstock on the National Mall. Wow...can't see how I'd be able to get away & get there though. Can't just pop-away, as I could do a few decades ago.

I'm with you Tars! I too want to go, from the second I heard about it last Thursday.

But I'm not sure it would be a prudent use of my limited funds. I have the time, but the money could be better spent... Still, I haven't completely ruled out the possibility. Still weighing my options.

It is sure to be a very fun, even inspiring event. And the first one of its kind, called by political satirist entertainers. And I'm a total sucker for IRONY.

    Decisions, decisions.

    Choices, choices...

In a society where politics is theater, the most honest politics is the theatrical shredding of politics.
