Help rescue horses

Two of the four horses waiting for a rescue. Only three days left before time runs out.
The four horses in need of rescue from being transported to a Canadian feedlot are still $850 shy of the $1500 in rescue fees needed to purchase them from the current owner. Many of you have donated, and also asked for an update.
Many, many thanks to you who have already opened your hearts to these sweet fillies.
There are only 3 days left in which to accomplish this rescue, by which time a transport truck will pick these gals up and take them on a long journey where they will be deprived of food and water for days before they are corralled onto a kill floor, and their lives ended!
Artist Lee Mitchelson, who paints amazing portraits of animals as well as people, has offered to donate 50% of any commission for her art to the rescue of these horses. If you are interested in purchasing her art, please visit her website, MitchelsonMountainGallery.
If you'd like to donate directly to the rescue, go to Paypal.com . The Paypal account is [email protected]. You will receive a receipt for your donation which you can use on your 2010 tax return as a write-off.
If 170 people donate $5 each, they will have the fees to save the fillies. Rescuer Marlene Dodge is checking Paypal continuously while on the road to see if the goal has been reached. Hopefully by the time she reaches the horses she will have what she needs to secure their release and can bring them home to sanctuary.
