Become a Sexual Assault Prevention Educator - Make a difference in the lives of Sonoma County Youth! United Against Sexual Assault of Sonoma County (UASA) will be having its next Prevention Educator Training soon.
UASA is Sonoma County’s only rape crisis, intervention, prevention, education, and counseling center and had been in existence for over thirty-five years. UASA works to end all form of violence with a special focus on sexual violence. In addition to being the only agency in Sonoma County to offer direct services to victims of sexual assault and abuse, UASA strongly believes that the catalyst to ending violence is the education of our youth. Volunteers are essential to the success of UASA’s services. These dedicated individuals make it possible for our educational workshops to reach thousands of Sonoma County youth each year.
You can help to educate Sonoma County youth, elementary through high school ages, by becoming a Prevention Educator. Through age-appropriate workshops, you can educate young people on effective communication, relationship, and interpersonal skills that will help them keep themselves safe.
