From 2 to 4pm we have a quality canned food food drive drop off point at the Sebastopol Comunity center parking lot...look for a white toyota takoma pick up manned by local comunity server, Jim Glenn. Drop off a bag of quality canned food with him.

This is part of a neighborhood food drive that sebastopol residents have organized in response to the national day of service and Barack Obama's call to serve. See www.usaservice.org and the general movement towards collective effort on a mass scale.

All food and cash offerings will go to the Redwood Empire food bank who
co-ordinate enough food to provide 20,000 meals per day to Sonoma's hungry. According to their numbers there are 60,000 hungry people per month in Sonoma county.

Small fry compared to global starvation numbers but we have to start somewhere.

I want to be a part of the solution to end world poverty/war/disease and environmental degradation.

call me today if you can help.
