    Obama's night

Watch the election returns and join the party on Election Night with fellow Barack supporters at the Flamingo Hotel in Santa Rosa. Let's hope Obama's night is a very short night.

Certainly sounds like somebody drank somebody's cool-aid.

    Must be a trip.

    Kathleen,

Sounds like an interesting night to me. I am almost frightened of being alone that night, since hubby will be working. I just might be interested in going.

Do I just show up at above address?

    Thanks,

    Lady bug,

It seems like you are claiming that people who feels Obama is the better choice for president arent patriots.

Yet - it seems to me this great nation is build on having more than one choice, and the acceptance of different opinions. Isnt that the freedoms we fight for and hold dear?

Yet - when someone dares to disagree with you, you insinuate they are not good patriots.

Where is the freedom in that?

    Who drank the cool-aid here?

Its not like we dont have plenty of good places to spend that money.

Such as health care, police, firemen just to name a few............. But no - I am probably mistaken, its certainly more important that Governor Palin is dressed up pretty than it is to make sure the children in the US has health care. My mistake!

    Dixon
Forgive my lack of focus tonight.
Am not willing, or able, right now to google all of McCain's (and Palin's) 'friends'.
I do know that a few savings and loans fell, the Alaskan Independance Party
(and it's white seperatist founder) were among those friends.... guilt by association cuts both ways don't 'cha know wink wink !!

Many of McCain's Republican friends are either in prison, or in complete disgrace for one miserable deception or another.
    Can you say Keating scandle

As much as I dislike certain certain opposing opinions, I try my damnedest to listen closely (and respectfully) to them all so as to understand those points of view is all about ?
I do wish Lady Bug would give the rest of us poor souls that same courtesy instead of spewing her angry venom across this screen.
Lady bugs are those lovely, useful, and helpful creatures which provide an amazing service where ever they land.
Perhaps m'lady might consider this in her next offering to this forum.

Did you know Sarah Palin actually spent 250,000 on her wardrobe but under Obama's plan to redistribute the wealth, some of her clothing was given to Obama's wife who had to appear on the Jay Leno show and didn't have a thing to wear.

oh booo hooo hooo. I will be so glad when this election is over and we are past this nonsense. I have read many of the posts on here and could rip into the logic and illogic of many of the posts presented here. Some of which are just plain stupid. Just vote for who you want to vote for and be happy that you live in a country where you can really vote for people, and where elections are not a sham.

They're not? Check out, for starters, https://www.blackboxvoting.org/

Also, here are some relevant facts with links (this info dates from the time of the last Presidential "election", so some details and links won't be up to date, but unfortunately, the basic message still holds true):
