Hi folks,we were directing waste for our place and it occured to me folks might find this interesting or at least funny.

*Villagers are to pre-sort wastes into these Seven categories:

.Landfill trash in cans provided.Grungy Sheet plastic,gypsum,window glass, regular lightbulbs ,floor sweepings, Painted wood that cannot be re-used.Unfortunately,fiberglass,and fiberglass asphalt roofing still go to the dump as do GROUND CONTACT WOODS I disagree with this policy, but what can you do? this stuff is bad for the planet, and bad for us,but SO handy.

.COMPOST ALL FOODS PERIOD, EVEN IF YOU ARE FEELING LAZY Compostable carbon. wood scraps, soiled paper that's soft. not recyclable...regular cardboard, napkins and paper towels FOOD in landfill is now TOP contributor
to greenhouse gasses, more than even gasoline!!

if it grew on the surface,let it die,and rot on the surface,not under 40 ft of other crap.the worms need it! they want YOU to!

.Rinsed Recyclable containers , "inked paper" the ink on paper and cardboard is no longer a problem in compost. and metals. At parties,please pay attention, and put your PLASTIC FORKS in the recycling!! gads. fun does not HAVE to mean unconscious.

You no longer have to wash recycalables ALL PLASTIC GOES just remove the peanut butter from the jar,no need to wash jar Separate FILM PLASTIC Bundle it up in big bags

.Deposit bottles & cans. –anyone can take into town for money.
.Toxic /unknown, Batteries,Paints ,Glues,FLOURESCENT LIGHTS ALL LIQUIDS, Including shampoos, detergents,all household cleaners and cosmetics, even toothpaste.
Liquids gather and mix under tremendous pressure and heat beneath dumps up to 40 ft deep, pressurized by methane ,they effluent down hill in a huge toxic "plume" that is truly one of the most disgusting deadly messes on earth.All house hold or other powdered intense materials such as detergent,borax,salt, obviously, fertilizers,insecticides etc. borax, cleansers,yuc toxic think big mix=earth bomb. pLease do NOT pour paint or brush wash in septic system or on the ground in winter! p.c.b. type chemicals travel for miles that way,are drawn into plants and eventually the air we breathe. There IS no such place as AWAY It was created by our parents to keep us in denial of our responsibility for our relationship to the earth.

Things to NOT throw away that we throw away frequently !!!!
BRICKS innert,will out last us all, weigh a ton are extremely usefull for dozens of tasks beyond your grasp at the moment.
Cast Iron ,re-bar(we can sell it ,use it) inert,easily hidden in willows, same with fencing of all types! all metals are re-bar!!
ROCKS give them back, its an honor!
Any broken ceramic or tile, unless it is gross looking and white.,even the white can be gravel under cement pours ,and YES we'll be pouring cement.
all these HEAVYitems above cost us environmental damage in the diesel needed to haul them hundreds of miles for disposal
and are usable in sculptures and buildings on site,Nico will show you soon.
Also do not discard nails screws or any small hardware it
is ALL usable in many NATURAL BUILDING APPLICATIONS

lighters,BOTTLECAPS,bright colored paint,paintbrushes,TOYS

Trolls, wheels,CARS ,CORKS, fake lemons, salt shakers,ceramic avocados.
fine exquisite antiques GARDEN TROLLS basically ,anything cool,ask your 3 year old!
