This is very last minute, but urgent. Prop 80 appears to be very bad energy policy that should not be attempted via initiative. Here is some info, please read:

Prop. 80, unfortunately, needs to be a "No".* This is virtually unanimous among the renewable energy community.* There are several reasons, but there are two primary ones.* First, while the 20% RPS sounds laudable, if it is enacted, the other feature, namely, that a 2/3 vote of the legislature will be required to change anything in the future, means that the 20% RPS is locked in forever, and cannot be increased in the future.* (Just from the realities of trying to get the legislature to come up with a 2/3 vote.)* The second biggest problem is that Prop. 80 will preclude communities from community aggregation of their own energy supply, one of the most important new elements in California that presently allows communities to set more aggressive standards for renewables and for greenhouse gas emission reductions.
