I am going to vote yes on 11. That's the one that requires ambulance employees/paramedics to be on-call during breaks, and for the breaks to be paid. Paid on-call breaks is contrary to state law; unless this is passed providing for an exception. This measure would save money for municipalities that contract for ambulance services that respond to accidents and other 911 calls. Employees are opposed to it.
It does not apply to public employees, meaning firefighters/paramedics employed by the city or county. It would apply to Sonoma Life Support
