    (And don't forget Amplify!)

    Dear Indivisibles,
For over a year we have encouraged ourselves to make calls, send emails, write texts, and show up - because we are unwilling to accept a version of the US that includes legalized and tolerated racism, homophobia, sexism, massive economic disparity, and environmental disasters. We cannot be quiet about gun violence, pollution, or politics.

A year is a long time to keep that passion going. Maybe we were frantic in January and February of last year, but just don't know that our efforts did any good.

We are here to tell you - all you do works!

When we call our Senator to urge her to vote NO on Pompeo, our Senators hear our voices. Both of our Senators have pledged to vote NO. And this public announcement might not have happened without you.

We take steps each day to change our world - send a text to a voter, send a postcard to a senator, make a call to your Representative. And these little steps pay off. We - Indivisible - are young, and we are mighty. Give yourselves a round of applause.

Today is the best day to make those calls. Even if you called yesterday. And will call tomorrow.

Indivisible Sonoma County is a volunteer grassroots organization that mobilizes and organizes the people of Sonoma County by connecting them with the political processes to fight for equality and justice. Indivisible Sonoma County unites people in opposition to President Trump's agenda and his enablers. Our actions are informed by the Indivisible Guide that details effective ways to influence members of Congress. Flipping the House in the 2018 mid-term election is critical for the Indivisible movement, and some of our political actions include:

    ● Get-out-the-vote programs
    ● Voter registration
    ● Workshops, publications and seminars to encourage greater participation in government and politics
Your contribution will help us succeed -- and 20% of every donation goes to Indivisible.org. Locally, every donation goes toward basic supplies, meeting and event space, equipment and transportation for registering voters, hosting public forums, boosting our social media presence, and other items necessary for creating political change.

    ACTIONS:
Is it hard to keep up with our changing political scene? Absolutely. That's why we rely on you to help us stay in touch and stay connected. Your efforts to make calls, send postcards, attend meetings and be ready for emergencies make the 2018 blue wave possible. But it's your commitment to reinforcing our democracy and recommitting to our constitution that give us all hope for the future.

Read the Act To Win post to learn more about what you can do to build the Blue Wave.

    SCRIPTS:
    Continue to make a difference!

Call our Members of Congress and our State Senator today. Tell them to reject the Republican Tax Scam extension and a work requirement for food. Let our Senators hear what you think about Mike Pompeo (for Secretary of State) and Gina Haspel (for CIA director). And make certain State Senator Dodd gets your thanks for his efforts to create California's net neutrality regulations.

Our representatives are waiting to hear from you! Use our SCRIPTS.
