I'm seeking new folks to share peer support with.
I can listen to you.
I'm also seeking someone to listen to me.
I already have a wonderful group of people I do this with, and am seeking a few more.
We don't have to solve each other's situations.
We can offer the other person ideas, if the other person is open to hearing. (We can ask first!)
We can start communicating via email, and progress to phone calls. Possibly meet in person down the road.
Since we're meeting over the internet, let's go slow and figure out a way we both can feel safe.
I'm aware that many connections might not have that certain chemistry for the right match.
May we both be able to bow out with grace and understanding if this is the case. ;)
My thought is to keep beginning conversations small, and not share deeply intense or vulnerable issues at first.
We can check in with each other frequently to establish this pace.
I love nature, community, reading, creative endeavors, knitting, quilting, yoga.
I have decades of experience and training with peer support.
If you're interested please respond and let me know how this sounds to you. I have an easier time
reading formatted emails with shorter paragraphs. To prevent overwhelm on my part, can your email be less than 250 words at first?
Thank you, and looking forward.
