Want to help Flip the House? Get Involved!

Since we live in one of the Bluest parts of the country, the way to make a difference (besides just complaining) is to work to flip a Red district Blue!

Sister District does great work to flip red state legislative districts blue. See the Sonoma West article about the local Sister District Group here.

I've chosen to work with Swing Left to flip the U.S. House of Representative Blue! That would make a HUGE DIFFERENCE!

Our closest flipable Red District is CA-10 (Tracy/Modesto). I've gone down there to canvas (knock on doors) a few times. It can be very rewarding, and with elections sometimes coming down to coin (or film canister) tosses, every little bit helps!

There's a canvassing event scheduled for this Sunday in Tracy from 1-4:30pm. The local Democratic party office will supply all the training needed and you'll be paired up with a more experienced volunteer.

If you can't make this Sunday but are interested in helping another day, please also reply.

Anybody want to get out of your chair and join the Resistance?

If so, reply here, or better yet send an email to Bridget at [email protected]
