    Smart (dumb) water meters

Private COMPANY came by today to install new smart water meter. I told him no thanks and he told me City of Santa Rosa will probably try to come back without telling me and install it. I do not want a smart meter for my water. Anybody have information about opt out or my rights as consumer much appreciated. Thanks all....

What PRIVATE company? I'd do some research on your opt out rights, and meanwhile here's this important information on SMART meters for all of us:

I'd check to see if there's a local group who's fighting these SMART meters, because otherwise you're on your own, which isn't desirable when you're resisting something that's going to be forced on you to get, and to PAY for.
