If you are a healthy adult between the ages of 55 and 80 looking to improve your mood, this study may be for you!

The purpose of the study is to learn more about how a meditation program: Internet Mindfulness Meditation Intervention (IMMI) delivered via the internet may affect depression symptoms in older adults.
-This study consists of 6 internet training sessions, once a week for six weeks and 30-40 minutes of daily home practice delivered via study iPod.
-You will also be asked to complete three questionnaires online throughout the study over a span of 12-14 weeks.
-You will have a 50/50 chance of being randomized to either the IMMI condition or the wait-list control.
-If you are randomized to the IMMI condition you will be asked to begin the IMMI trainings immediately.
-If you are randomized to the wait-list control you will also be asked to complete the IMMI trainings after a six week wait period.
*All participants need to have access to a computer connected to the internet to complete the online trainings
