Standing Rock is Calling for a Global Day of Action!
This Friday, March 10!
Sonoma Solidarity with Standing Rock and 350Marin are returning to SPO Partners to protest again!
We and 350 Sonoma, Mill Valley Community Action Network, and United Marin Rising
are joining together for a Day of Action at SPO Partners! 1PM - 3PM @ Mill Valley
Carpool info below!
We picked SPO Partners as our target because they are local. They are the largest investor in Oasis Petroleum, that is one of nine companies supplying oil to the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL). As Energy Transfer Partners (building the DAPL), and law enforcement are waging war on peaceful Standing Rock protesters, we see SPO Partners as complicit in genocide. NO DAPL!
"The $5.2 billion investment firm is among the country's leading financial backers of oil and natural gas fracking. Its web of financial connections tie it directly to the country's most controversial infrastructure project—the $3.7 billion, 1,134-mile Dakota Access Pipeline—and even Republican Party presidential candidate Donald Trump's economic policy team." - North Bay Bohemian
