    What's the truth of SWMC?

    It seems as if we are getting a completely different story now about all the money the hospital was going to make and about whether the money "given" by Dan Smith was actually loans. Is a "gift" with "formal loan documents attached," according to Maben Rainwater, really a gift?

    I'm sure the taxpayers are going to love that 30 years from now (while the "gifts" are still being paid off!). That description might make those payday loan operations more palatable too, I guess.
