"I'm not sure where you're getting your information from, but I'm happy to answer any questions you might have about agriculture. It's true that I have a really broad base of support from the agricultural community (which isn't surprising because I'm actually a farmer). But, I'm the only candidate who has actively fought to create a polyculture and agricultural diversity in Sonoma County -- moving *away* from monocropped winegrapes. I was ED of Sonoma County Farm Trails, and fought for small diversified family farms... and have been growing food for the last 9 years. (We actually took land that had previously been used to grow winegrapes, and used it to plant vegetables.) I actually want to preserve our heritage apple orchards and dairy farms, and wrote an article in the Gazette earlier this year introducing policy ideas to do just that."
