Two Men and a Big Truck

Does anyone know where they went? Does anyone know where to get the compressed logs?
    Thank you.

2 Guys has closed! There are a couple of other sources, one used to be called Evans, in Pocket Canyon (may have moved).

    You may be thinking of:

    Forestville firewood products 707-887-1997
    9350 hwy 116 Forestville
    (Pocket Canyon Road)

I haven't been in the area in a couple of years but they were very nice people when I was there.
It is still the firewood place that the two guys and a big truck did truck firewood from many years ago.

Two Guys and a big Truck are someone else, and as far as I know are now not affiliated with Forestville firewood products but they were in that same location many years ago.

The really nice man who used to run the firewood place, Gordon Evans and his wife are no longer running it, but firewood and press-logs sales, etc. are still there in same Pocket Canyon location in Forestville as has been for decades.

    Their website: https://forestvillefirewoodproducts.com/

They moved to a space behind Sequoia Burger (they are opened I think Thursday through Sunday with limited hours).

Go to Forestville Firewood Products -- 9360 Hwy 116
    (707) 887-1997

They carry the same logs as two guys along with a few other pressed log options as well as pellets and firewood. The people there are super nice and the girl in the office was very helpful and informative. The customer service was unlike anyone else I've purchased pressed logs from. I like to know all my options and ask a lot of questions, which I know not everyone is really happy about. I never felt like i was being rushed out of there, they were patient and we went over ALL my options (options i didn't even know I had). You can even buy a pallet of logs and they will store them for you.

I left a happy customer and will definitely be back there.

I am glad you are happy. I mean it. My experience is entirely different.

Re: Two Men and a Big Truck

They are nice enough, but the logs are not as good. The Two Guys and a Big Truck logs were much better quality. The were denser, more highly compressed I guess you'd say. The Forestville logs are looser, smaller, and burn faster and less cleanly than the logs from Two Guys.

Has anybody been out to their place by Sequoia Burger? I only knew they were moving there because they gave me a flyer last winter...

I stopped by on Labor Day weekend, and they were no longer there. No one knew where they went.

Re: Two Men and a Big Truck

I used 2 Guys with a Big Truck for years. Never knew how the main guy's mood would be. He was horribly rude and impatient with me many times and the same for many more people I have talked to. It was consistently an unpleasant experience. Life is too short for that! I will not go back.

Today I went to Forestville Fire Products. I found them super friendly and I like supporting a family owned business. In conversation with Gary, I found out that the products they carry are exactly the same ones that 2 Guys carry. Same producer, same company they buy from. Plus Forestville has extra options like the overnight logs which will keep the chill off all night long. I am another happy customer. I highly recommend them!

Re: Two Men and a Big Truck

They may have changed suppliers since I went there last winter, or maybe I got part of a substandard batch, or they had gotten damp or something? They were clearly different. Anyway, stay toastie, neighbors.
