"The Ghost and the Whale" Movie

Take a break from all the election hoopla and enjoy a great thriller movie shot right here in our beautiful west county. Enjoy scenery from Bodega Bay and Dillon Beach in "The Ghost and the Whale".

I was fortunate enough to secure a small role as "Annabel's mother" in the flashback funeral scene leading the procession out of the lovely St. Teresa of Avila church in Bodega Bay. The Gaudioso brothers (up and coming filmmakers who were excellent to work with and I'm sure we'll be seeing lots more from them) wrote, direct and star in this "Hitchcock" styled movie and Tippi Hedren makes a cameo appearance referencing "The Birds".

It also deals with the effects of bi-polar disease and the lead actor Maurice Bernard (you might recognize him from the soap General Hospital that he has been on for many years) and his wife Paula have been instrumental in getting it made as he has suffered from it personally.

It was filmed a couple years ago, but has just now been released and can be downloaded On Demand from amazon.com or itunes.
