Petaluma science & philosophy discussion group

Might we find a small group of persons interested to begin a discussion group, salon, or café in Petaluma that focuses on science & philosophy rather than on politics?

My own interest is on the natural transition from geochemistry to the origins of life, as addressed by (for example) Nick Lane, as well as the transition from simplest life to mind & consciousness, as addressed by biosemiotics, & (for example) Jesper Hoffmeyer.

not that far from Petaluma, https://www.sciencebuzzcafe.org/about-us/

I haven't been for a while, and it's maybe not exactly what you're asking for. But they held some very interesting events. I think Dixon might weigh in??

Thanks podfish. Science Buzz has been active for years in Sebastopol & more recently at Aqus in Petaluma, & might well include some persons interested in helping to pull together some recurring science/philosophy salon & discussions in Petaluma. I'm just throwing out the bait here to see where it might lead.
