Sometimes referred to as "the happy hoarder"Nico Morris is an up-cycle artist who is single evenhandedly "up-scaleing" Sonoma county's Creative re-use systems to preserve and maintain materials for ART,Cob, Fountains, Gardens ,Composting systems, tile Ceramics ,Tools, TOYS! trains,cars boats planes.spaceships robots ....and anything fanciful or decorative . We could use help with Networking this project ! also just help sorting,boxing Yard-sale-ing , Ebay sellers, etc etc..come check it out .you will be amazed.



PALACE ANNOUNCEMENT
Nico Morris
I am a new "playologist " at CMOSC (Children's Museum of Sonoma County)
I have been commissioned to build a Palace there! It will be built of up-cycled tile,Brick, Glass ,and mosaics of many kinds
I currently store these materials in a failed commune that is being sold and need to move them to a reasonably close and large building in Sonoma County .

I am reaching out to all my communities of friends to take a moment to visualize this as a possibility , and also think,"do I have a friend who knows someone with a winery with extra barns, or farm or warehouse or storefront that they are not using?" San Francisco has"Scrap" Oakland has "Creative Re-use Depot" we need to upgrade this here now.

I have stored these materials in about 5 locations in the last 15 years and spent $50,000 to insure their path toward Re use . I have also spent untold amounts of money at thrift stores and yard sales!and received as many donations!

This is my dedication to the Concept of recycling useful materials discarded by our busy workaday culture, no one else can "AFFORD" this. I go without my own home , vacations, smart phones and work hard at many skills to manage this museum of American consumer abundance,and the embodied energy in "waste" products.

I have hundreds of lbs of art materials, camping equipment,etc that I am donating to the homeless, to small schools etc. I have WORM COMPOST that I made,that I am selling ,or giving to helpers ,and worm composting systems as well.

Thanks to you for helping to publicize this challenging task. I look forward to your children's smiling faces peeking out the windows of my "Eco Palace" time for the young "Eco-Inovators" to re invent our wasteful economy ,one inspiration at a time.
Each Local thrift store discards about $10,000 worth of perfectly good items a year,(Merchants do not want you to know this)
add that up and county wide its a million a year. we are too rich. we need to step back and look at Nico's Pile and say hmmmmm, Is the "Away" that mom worshiped still really the best solution?, can we afford to get more from china.?

all this "wealth" is available to all producing Sonoma County Artists,and could rock the fools parade,and any other parade!

I hope you find a place for all these treasures. I wish I could help, and the only thing I can do is Network your project. I'm not able to sort and organize anymore. This is a beautiful example of your art! I love it!
I look forward to seeing more of your "play" in the form of the palace.

Thanks for sharing these sites! You are beyond prolific! I will like and share on FB. Your ceramics are so beautiful, I wish I had space for one. I can't put anything in my yard, since I had a beautiful Thai sculpture stolen a few months ago. I live in a mobile home park, and there's an old station wagon that's decorated in your recycle style. I wonder if you did it. It's kind of an orange/tan color.
