Tired of going to public spaces and seeing everyone glued to their phones?

So were we... So a bunch of us locals helped create an extraordinary new iPhone app.

Zoku is a tribe-based underground social network that allows people with shared interests to connect.

We built it so users could find each other in public and put down their phones and talk! (How old school, right?)

If you care to take Zoku out for a test drive, I created a "WaccoBB Tribe." https://zokuapp.com/z/waccobb

Join it and watch your phone vibrate when other members are within 300 ft. It works on Bluetooth so you don't even need to be connected to the Internet. Completely anonymous too -- everyone is given a secret handle.

If you like it, spread the word. And have fun joining and creating tribes of your own.

The app is starting to take off in New York and it has only been out for a few weeks.

This seems like a great idea and very helpful tool for people who share a common interest to find/meet each other IRL (In Real Life).
