    bitcoin anyone?

After about a year of talking up bitcoin with my friend at Cottage Gardens of Petaluma (nursery) I finally got them to accept bitcoin as form of payment. I got them a free POS terminal from a startup in San Francisco: https://www.snapcard.io/

Probably 99% of their shoppers have never heard of bitcoin, but I'm just excited that they're one of the first businesses in the North Bay to accept bitcoin. https://cottagegardensofpet.com/

Intro YouTube video: https://www.weusecoins.com/en/ (under 2 minutes)

There's a small Northbay bitcoin community building up in the area. If you're interested, come to a meetup sometime. https://www.meetup.com/North-Bay-Bitcoin/

Excellent presentation by Andreas Antonopoulos. About an hour and a half, but worth it.

Oops. Yeah, confused it with another of his presentations. No biggie...
For those who are serious about learning more, there is an upcoming all day seminar coming up in S. F.
It does seem a bit pricey, but I expect it will be worth it for the knowledge and potential contacts.
