    Fields of Daisy

    Fields of Daisy

Come lie with me Sweetheart in the fields of daisy,
Where the weather is warm and the mood is quite lazy.

Come lie with me there in your white cotton dress,
As we gaze at the moon while our minds gently rest.

Come lie with me in the fields on this warm summer day,
And let me recite poetry to you in my own special way.

Come lie with me here in the fields of daisy,
Let’s reminisce of the times when life wasn’t so hazy.

Come lie with me there in the fields of daisy,
Counting “he loves me not’s,” then laughing like crazy.

Come lie with me and we can watch the clouds pass over,
We’ll eat the tall sourgrass and count four-leaf clovers.

Come lie with me my Muse in the full fields of daisies,
Where simpler rhymes have defined the floral paisleys.

Come lay with me Angel in the tall fields of daisy,
And let me profess my ardent love for you ever so bravely.

Come lie with me today with your beauty and splendor,
With a gentle kiss on the lips so soft and tender.

Come lay with me Beautiful and just let me adore you,
I only want to make more resplendent memories of us two.
