Progressive Radio Comes to KBBF 89.1 FM

The mission of KBBF 89.1 FM is to create a strong multilingual voice that empowers and engages the community to achieve social justice through education, celebration of culture and local and international news coverage.

To achieve this mission KBBF has added a variety of progressive shows in English to the program schedule.

DEMOCRACY NOW! with Amy Goodman airs on Monday thru Friday, 10-11 am.

THOM HARTMAN is aired Monday thru Thursday, 2-3 pm. It is currently the only non-commercial northern California broadcast of his show.

RICHARD WOLFF provides expert economic and political news, history and analysis with Economic Update which airs Tuesdays, 11am to noon.

ROBERT KENNEDY, JR’s Ring of Fire is broadcast on Wednesday and Friday, 11am to noon. It features the commentary of Mike Papantonio as well as news of environmental issues and the surrounding politics.

PROJECT CENSORED with Peter Phillips and Micky Huff, Thursdays at 4 pm.

KBBF’s signal from the top of Mt. Saint Helena is strong and reaches into 18 counties.

The station is a 100% volunteer operation with no paid staff. If you are not already supporting KBBF consider doing so by making a donation or becoming a member. The website is kbbf-fm.org (follow the big red button!).

KBBF will launch its on-air fundraising campaign with a dinner/dance, featuring the popular band Los Ritmicos de Beto Vera, Saturday, Sept. 20, 6 to 10 pm, 1700 Corby Ave., Santa Rosa

Email: [email protected] Located at 1700 Corby Ave., Suite B, Santa Rosa
