I need to rent a small truck for moving

    Location:  Santa Rosa
On the first weekend of September, I'll be moving from my studio in Santa Rosa to a place in Forestville. I want to rent a small truck, but big enough to carry all my stuff in one trip. Can anyone give me recommendations for or against local truck rental businesses such as Hertz, U-Haul, or...? What company's cheapest? What one is most dependable? Thanks in advance for any answers.

Happened to walk by a U-haul van today with big letters saying something like "Only $19.95/day LOCAL, you pay gas". Do I believe there won't be some other costs besides tax, no. But you might be surprised how much stuff packs into a full-size van, and maybe two trips wouldn't be so bad if absolutely necessary to save money. Don't forget, long stuff can hang out the back too with open doors squeezed tight on a short trip. It also might not be a bad thing to be lower to the ground for loading and unloading than one of the bigger box-trucks.

I'm probably way too late, but I am guy with truck. I have a large Ford Dually truck with wood sides. I provide moving assistance. So if there's a couch I can get one end but not both. I'm in the Business Listings, and my rates are all there. It's $25/hr for me and the truck. We work good together.
