Help Needed to Deal with Pets of the Homeless ....

I met an amazing woman today who has started an organization to assist homeless people with their pets ... right now she needs a shed which can be installed at the Humane Society to house her supplies ... she will also need very temporary foster homes where animals can relax and receive care while their owners are looking for work and housing ... the only option at the moment is complete surrender of the animal and few homeless people are willing to do that so you have animals living in cars, etc., a terrible situation ...

If you can help her contact her directly ...

Re: Help Needed to Deal with Pets of the Homeless ....

Very recently someone I know became homeless, and is living in a truck with a camper shell, with his two CATS! He would not surrender them; he's had them for 15 years since they were kittens. They are very stressed.
