We are foreign car specialists, servicing European, Japanese, and English cars and light duty trucks. We also service 2000 and newer light duty American cars. At K-Tech, you talk directly with your mechanic, the one who does the work. And I love to answer technical questions!

My name is Kate, and I own/operate K-Tech Automotive in Sebastopol. We recently moved into a portion of the old Ford dealership building, alongside eMotors. I have over 10 years in the automotive repair industry, Mercedes-Benz factory training, and an aptitude for diagnostic work. I am a fully certified technician, ASE Master Certified, with an AOS degree in Automotive Service, graduating at the top of my class. I have an EA Smog license with smog diagnostic experience, as well as Hybrid Training and late-model training.

K-Tech Automotive is a full service automotive repair shop. We offer highly personalized service, quality repairs, and a friendly atmosphere.

We make every attempt to make servicing your vehicle as easy on the environment as possible - we recycle, use reusable fluid dispensers, properly dispose of all materials that cannot be avoided (like used engine oil), and continue to look for other ways to minimize the impact on our environment.

The feeling I got was that this was someone who could offer honest, thorough service and I immediately knew I would bring my repair business to her in the future. Kate took time out of her busy schedule to check the underside of my car for any possible leaks. She even checked my check engine light (which was on) and balanced that out for me. With a No Charge bill.

She has a clear heart and a attitude of wanting to be of service.

I took a car to her a couple of months ago to check it out before I bought it -- money well spent because it wasn't a good deal for me. I found another car and took it to her today. She liked the car, sent me to Ken Davis to get it smogged, and sent me home a very happy camper! She does a VERY thorough checkup from top to bottom, front to back, for under $100. She's competent and confident and explains everything. She gave me a printout of all the things that will need attention, and noted when these things need to be addressed. She assured me the car is safe for me to drive now, so I won't worry about it, can schedule repairs as I can afford them. Superb customer service from a clear-headed Waccovite! Thanks, Kate!

P.S. I also found three fabulous sweaters at Goodwill across the street, for $3.99 each! WOW! And had time to shop at Whole Foods for lunch.
