Default Would like to dance.

My first dance lession was in the mountains above LA during a summer campout. My mother (she was a dear) taught me how to lead and float around a dance floor. I had this little dip move that was good for a giggle. It was loads of fun. Then the 60's- there was the twist and later the free form whatever- all so easy.
Then came my non-dancing years- working and being a single parent.
And now it is Now.

I'm relatively healthy and not to clumsy for an old person, a bit shy. I'd even consider learning more formal methods.

Would you have some suggestions on how, or where, to take care of this desire? Would YOU like to go dancing?

Hey, Gary, there's dj dancing every Friday night (except when there's a fifth Friday in the month) in Sebastopol! On third Friday it's at the Youth Annex (next to the Community Center), otherwise it's at Wischeman Hall (next to the Youth Annex). See ya there!

Friday, July 3

Oops! I just heard that there may not be a dance this Friday, due to the holiday! Still not positive...

[

They offer Salsa dance lessons every Sunday at the Flamingo Hotel in Santa Rosa. The lessons start at 8PM and then they have DJ music starting at 9PM. They always teach the basic steps at the beginning of class and then move on to a pattern that they work through step by step. You don't need to bring a partner to dance with. It costs $8.00 and that includes the lesson and dancing afterwards. It is in the lounge so some people do drink a little...

Hope that is helpful

Melanie
